Small Steps believes the only way we are going to reduce hate is by having open and frank conversations,

where we listen to people's worries and concerns and look for solutions.

ALL Extremism Is Wrong - Extremists use people's worries, and they have NO ANSWERS

To reduce extremism, we need to understand it.

We need to know why people go to extremists and what they offer, so we can offer alternatives.

Seeking to help develop resources for frontline staff, families and people active in the community,

this page helps by providing videos to upskill people about what ERW (Extreme Right-Wing) extremism is

and help people have conversations about extremism and its impact.

Darren Carrol - Voices Series

Discussing his involvement and asking difficult questions, Darren opens up and helps people see how people get involved in extremism, but also how people can see behind what is being said and find the truth.

With support, people can change. Involvement in extremism should be a life lesson, NOT a life sentence.

To help reduce extremism, we need are positive male role models, and Darren is a shining example of how someone can see beyond extremist propaganda and become a beacon of hope.
